According to the survey, the service with short videos became the fourth most popular in Russia.
- Levada Center conducted a study of Russian social networks, according to which TikTok became the fourth most popular in Russia.
- The service is used by 14% of respondents. On the first place “VKontakte” (43%), on the second YouTube (35%), and the third was shared by Instagram and “Odnoklassniki” (31% each). TikTok is followed by Facebook (9%) and Moy Mir (4%). According to the survey, only 3% of respondents use Twitter.
- Since 2019, the audience of the service with short videos has increased sevenfold. Back then, only 2% of survey participants used TikTok.
- In January 2021, TikTok was the second most downloaded app in the world – only Telegram bypassed it. Most of all, the service was downloaded by users from China (17%) and the USA (10%).
