The Lego store ad compared sets to the “light” and “dark” sides of Star Wars – but both are “dark”

The banner “for the knowledgeable” turned out to be a mistake.

On the website of the chain of stores “World of Cubes”, one of the main partners of Lego in Russia, an advertisement appeared with a “comparison” of two sets – Darth Vader and an imperial stormtrooper. Users were asked to choose the “light” side (attack aircraft) or “dark” (Vader).

According to the canons of the Star Wars cinematic universe, stormtroopers belong to the “dark” side and oppose the rebels and Jedi, who are considered the “light” side.

It’s bad when you do advertisements and don’t understand what exactly you are advertising https://t.co/ZN1CFjR4ep
