The first nine partners will receive preferential terms without a lump-sum fee and with reduced royalties.

Drinkit has announced that it is looking for nine partners to work on the franchise in 2021, in order to “improve the model, menus, processes in the team and begin real scaling in 2022”.

The company will choose partners based on experience in the operating business, values, resources, location of the future coffee house, city (it must necessarily be a millionaire), and internal ratings will matter for Dodo’s current partners.

Conditions for partners:

  • There is no lump sum.
  • 0.5% of royalties from proceeds in the first three years of operation for the first coffee shop (the amount of future royalties will be determined by the end of the year based on the analysis of unit economics).
  • The company will provide a design project free of charge, conduct training, and send a Dreamkit team to launch.
  • The partner will be obliged to invest in direct local advertising before the opening of the coffee shop and within three months after at least one million rubles.
  • The partner must ensure the financial transparency of the coffee shop: costs, income, profitability.

The estimated investment in the project is 4-8 million rubles, depending on the location, Ovchinnikov said.

The company is ready to consider proposals from partners in Moscow (a good location in the capital will be an advantage), St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Voronezh, Perm and Volgograd.

  • Fedor Ovchinnikov bought out the brand of digital coffee houses Drinkit in early 2020. The main difference is that coffee can be ordered through the app and by subscription at discounted prices.
  • Revenue “Drinkit” in the business center “Omega-Plaza” in Moscow in May amounted to 1.12 million rubles, according to Ovchinnikov. Average daily earnings on weekdays – 66 thousand rubles. The revenue of Drinkit in Samara in the first incomplete month of operation amounted to 1.73 million rubles.
